Narda Muñoz
Primary School and Early Years teacher
Spanish and Music Education
Narda is originally from Bogota, Colombia. After studying classical guitar in Havana, Cuba, she returned to Colombia and graduated from the Central University of Colombia with a degree in Music and Classical Singing.
Following a successful career as a voice teacher at Central University and a private music school, as well as performing as a soloist in Colombia, she moved to the United States to further her career as a singer and educator. In the U.S., she balanced her time between performing as an opera singer and teaching privately and at various institutions. She served as the music teacher and composer for “Isabella and Ferdinand,” a Spanish academy in Miami, and later in Washington, D.C., where she taught Spanish through music.
Additionally, she worked at the World Bank Children’s Center as a music teacher and gained experience in after-school programs as a music and voice teacher in both public and private schools.
Seven years ago, she moved to Italy, where she initially focused on singing and private teaching. Now she teaches in Correzzola, Chioggia and Mestre.
She lives with her husband and their dog, Uva. She loves languages, traveling, going to the movies, attending concerts, and exploring nature. Every year she goes to visit her family in Bogota, Colombia.
