Born and raised in Canada, she moved to Italy in 1986. She obtained her high school diploma from Strathcona Tweedsmuir School in Calgary, Alberta (Canada), and later earned her degree from the University of Victoria – Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
She began working in Milan, teaching English to children, and later moved to the Venetian area to start a family business. With the arrival of her daughters, she decided to dedicate her time to them, returning to teaching after a few years. She took on roles as Marketing Manager and Director of Studies at the British Institutes of Portogruaro.
Following her experience in Portogruaro, she joined the International School of Venice, where she worked as an ESL teacher and as a teacher in both early childhood and primary education. She also gained experience at the Bilingual Montessori School Veneto Orientale and the European School of Venice, always serving as a native English-speaking teacher.
Aware of the privilege of growing up surrounded by nature and immersed in a culturally rich environment, she decided to follow her true passion: passing on the knowledge of the English language and culture to children. She is guided by a philosophy she holds dear: that all children have the right to learn through motivation and that teachers must always consider the unique characteristics of each child.
