The Candiani Cultural Centre in Mestre is hosting the exhibition ‘CHAGALL. The Colour of Dreams’, and our pupils from classes 1, 3 and 5 of the primary school in November had the opportunity to learn about this important Russian artist.
In an interesting art workshop involving the use of various techniques and tools, and with the direct observation of some of Chagall’s masterpieces, with particular reference to the more ‘dreamlike’ works related to Vitebsk, the artist’s hometown, our pupils then created their own ‘city of dreams’.
