I was born and raised in Canada and moved to Italy in 1986. I received my Jr./Sr. High School diploma from Strathcona Tweedsmuir School in Calgary, Alberta Canada, then moved on to Vancouver Island, British Columbia to obtain my University degree from the University of Victoria.
I first began working in Milan teaching English to children then moved to the Venetian region to begin a family business. With the arrival of my daughters, I decided to dedicate my time to them. After a few years I went back to teaching, covering positions such as Responsible of Marketing and Director of Studies at the British Institutes of Portogruaro.
From Portogruaro I went to the International School of Venice where I continued to cover positions such as ESL teacher, Primary teacher and Early Years teacher. I then moved on to new experiences at the Bilingual Montessori School Veneto Orientale and the European School of Venice covering the position of English mother tongue teacher at all levels.
During these years I realised that my passion is to transmit the knowledge of the English language and culture to children. I was fortunate enough to be raised in the midst of nature but also surrounded by a background filled with culture. I believe all children have the right to learn through motivation and that all teachers should always keep in mind the single characteristics of each child.
